After analyzing the film of Florida’s 78-68 win over Ole Miss, UF coach Billy Donovan said the guards were as much to blame for the team’s rebounding woes as the frontcourt.
Florida was outrebounded 46-22 by the Rebels. Donovan said because the
Ole Miss guards consistently beat Florida off the dribble, it forced
frontcourt players to step up and help on defense in an effort to

Florida comes into Southeastern Conference play 44th in the current NCAA men’s basketball Division I Ratings Percentage Index.
Florida (13-2) played a non-conference schedule that’s strength was 157th out of 343 Division I teams. Florida’s two losses were to Syracuse (17 RPI) and Florida State (28 RPI.)
Any chances for Florida to climb in the RPI could be hindered by playing in the Southeastern Conference. It hasn’t been a banner non-conference season for the SEC, which currently ranks …

Florida men’s basketball coach Billy Donovan plans to arrive today
and root hard for the Gators when they face Oklahoma in the BCS title
game at Dolphin Stadium.
Donovan will sit with the center who helped lead his Gator team
to back-to-back national titles in 2006-07. Former Gator big man Al
Horford has a break between games with the Atlanta Hawks and was able
