Florida will have a new pair of walk-ons to start the 2007-08 basketball season.
Hudson Fricke, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound guard from Greenville, S.C., and Shane Payne, a 6-5, 180-pound guard from Weston, made the Florida team as non-scholarship players.

Like Mike Miller, Colton Iverson is from South Dakota. Like Miller, Iverson could end up wearing a Florida basketball uniform. it will move its home football games from the Orange Bowl to Dolphin
Stadium after the 2007 season.
As a Miami student during a time when the football team reeled off 58

CSTV recruiting guru Van Coleman came out with his list of top 100 post-summer basketball prospects for the Class of 2008.
Two Gator commitments made the list. Kenny Kadji, a 6-10 center from Bradenton, was rated 26th overall. Ray Shipman, a 6-4 guard from Miramar, was 77th.
New York City point guard Erving Walker, a 2008 Florida commitment, did not make the list.

Tickets for Florida’s Dec. 15 game against Georgia Southern at
Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Coliseum will go on sale this Friday at
10 a.m.
The two-time defending champion Gators will be making its first trip
back to Jacksonville since winning a pair of games in the first round
of the 2006 NCAA Tournament.
“We’re extremely excited about the opportunity to return there,”
