They say you learn about a city from its airport. As I arrived Thanksgiving night, the slots that line the concourse of the Las Vegas International Airport told me this is a town of luck. Greetings, this my first blog post on Gainesville.com. I know some of you may be fretting the ease of Florida’s early-season basketball schedule. But things should pick up weekend, when Florida faces Western Kentucky and No. 10 Kansas.
