Did Young get an assist for the score on his opening tip to Wilbekin? I saw he had two for the game.

Kevin,

Your article says the freshmen lost while on the court. Check the score as you forgot the dunk to make it 5-5, which should have been an and one, bad officiating in final 5 minutes. Yes it was a 30 point margin but not calling fouls leads to the chipyness.

Gators gave Mizzou a butt kicking in the O Dome. Other than some errant passes that led to turnovers, Gators looked like a team on a mission. Young and Yegette knocked down FT's well. Hopefully, no let down against UGA next week like last year.

I love that BD put that squalid squad back out there against Missouri with almost the exact same amount of time remaining (2:33 A&M to 2:31 Mizzou) and they definitely looked much better. Give Pelphrey kudos for jacking them up! And even more kudos to the Fightin' Gators for kicking Tiger arse! Norfolk State would be proud of the Gators today! lol

I thought Young looked more confident on his free throws, and I like that he expects to make them now. As for the freshmen tongue lashing by Pelphrey, he must have heard me. I couldn't stand how it looked like they were going to let A & M break 50 points. My two biggest complaints are that they stood flat footed waiting for passes and made them easy turnovers and scores for the Aggies and that they simply looked dazed and confused out there. They should have been thrilled to be out there with that much time left in an SEC road game. Instead, they looked like they were being punished, and perhaps now they are. Get'em John!

I thought it was awesome after ESPN, both Knight and Rece Davis, kept talking about the Hack-a-Pat stradegy. He looked great on his first 4. There is no doubt he seemed more focused. The rebounds, dunks and 3 point plays were momenum building for the team.
