I think if we play that fast tempo like we did vs Kty we can go past both the first teams…..We would have beaten Kty with 5 more free throws!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the matchups are excellent with both UVA and Missouri. Both are guard oriented teams with out a big frontline. The question as far as UVA goes is can we speed them up with our press without Yeguette. I would also point out that in the conference tourny finals every favorite lost. So much for the opinions of either Vegas or the talking heads.All these guys push the school/conference they played for except Vitalle who has a man crush on Coach K.

I too, am hopeful. But.., being a pragmatist, don’t see how this team gets past the 2nd round.., at best. UV. is the best defensive team in the acc, and Missouri is a possible final four team. This UF team hasn’t shown the consistency, or have a leader VOCAL enough, to get the type performance(s) it’ll take to get past these teams. Hopefully, the POSSIBLE pro talent on the squad will see that another year of college ball with get them the po$$ibilities they desire in the next level, and next year will be better. Even so.., Go Gators.

Yes, if they play tough like against UK and shoot lghts out like they did at Arkansas, the Gators can make a deep run. I’m hoping they put it all together and win at least these first two rounds.

If they play as they did vs. Kentucky on Saturday, and they get more than 2 free throw attempts, they will win. I am also hopeful….

Virginia’s an extremely well-coached basketball team which will command 40 minutes of full attention from the Gators. then there’s Mizzou, one of the top outfits nationally and all pumped about heading into the SEC, with something to prove. To advance, our Gators are going to have to put together their best back-to-back games of the season. What chance do you give them? I am hopeful.
